MVP Announces He's Signed Multi-Year Deal With WWE

The "Hurt Business" is booming...

After returning to WWE earlier in 2020, MVP has announced that he's sticking with the company for some time to come.

The 46-year-old multi-time United States champion posted a message on Instagram, saying that he's signed a long-term deal with WWE. Exact details of the deal have not been disclosed.

MVP wrote, "Tonight, I'm drinking "the good stuff". Yamazaki 18 from @suntorywhisky is the spirit of choice. I have come to terms with @wwe on a multi year deal. MVP is in #thehurtbusiness for the foreseeable future! Kampai! NOW... it's official!"

MVP's return to the company came as a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match, where he was quickly eliminated by Brock Lesnar. The following night on Raw, MVP lost to Rey Mysterio in what was supposed to be his final match before transitioning into a backstage role.

Since then, MVP resurfaced on television, and is presently part of the Hurt Business stable with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. He's scheduled to wrestle Apollo Crews for the United States title at SummerSlam.
