Neville Reportedly In Talks Over Post-WrestleMania 34 WWE Return

Will the King Of The Cruiserweights reclaim his throne?

A couple of months after talks to bring Neville back to WWE TV reportedly broke down, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims the former Cruiserweight Champion is now talking to the company again - with a post WrestleMania 34 return on the cards.

The Englishman reportedly walked out of WWE before an episode of Raw in October after learning that he would be losing to Enzo Amore. Since then, Amore - the focus of 205 Live for so long - has been released and Triple H has reportedly taken over creative of Raw's purple brand.

Neville can't really return to 205 Live before WrestleMania 34 as a tournament to crown a new Cruiserweight Champion is currently taking place with the final set to take place on the Grandest Stage of Them All on April 8. After that, the King of the Cruiserweights could return to reclaim his title.

However, a lot of sources claimed that Neville was deeply frustrated with the ceiling placed on all of those competing on 205 Live. Could a return be dependant on what would be seen as a promotion to the main roster? Few can argue that Nev's performances since turning heel at the end of 2016 weren't deserving of a position higher up the card on either Raw or SmackDown Live.

If these fresh talks are unsuccessful it looks increasingly like Neville's future is away from WWE. He'll be forced to see out the rest of his contract like CM Punk and Ryback, who were both released several months after their final appearance on WWE TV.
