New Stipulation Added To Universal Title Match At WWE Extreme Rules 2021

The first stipulation added to the Extreme Rules card

An Extreme Rules Match has finally been added to the WWE Extreme Rules 2021 card this coming week.

WWE have announced on social media that the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and 'The Demon' Finn Balor will be contested under Extreme Rules.

The stipulation means that the bout will have no disqualifications and no count-outs, permitting the use of any foreign objects and weapons that the two combatants determine to use.

WWE have historically marketed Extreme Rules as the one pay-per-view event every year that will see each match on the card have a specific stipulation added to the bout. However, at time of writing, only the Universal Title match has any form of stipulation added to it.

The six-match card also sees Becky Lynch defend the SmackDown Women's Title against former champion Bianca Belair, Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair put her Title on the line against Alexa Bliss, and Damian Priest defend the United States Championship against Jeff Hardy and Sheamus in a Triple Threat Match.
