Nia Jax will put her title on the line against Bayley
The card for WWE’s next premium live event in the calendar looks to be completed as of the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which took place on September 27. Friends Bayley and Naomi went head to head in singles action in a number one contenders match, with the winner earning a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at the Bad Blood 2024 PLE.
After a back and forth bout, Bayley hit her signature elbow drop from the top rope to win the match, securing a rematch against the WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, who defeated her at SummerSlam 2024 to win the gold a couple of months ago.
Bayley attempted to shake Naomi’s hand after the match, only to be refuted and shrugged off as Naomi walked to the back.
