Nick Khan Confirms 'Conversations' Regarding WWE Network UK Deal

The WWE Network could get a new home in the UK

WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan has said there should be some news 'soon' regarding a new Peacock-style deal for the WWE Network in the United Kingdom.

The UK has long been one of WWE's biggest markets in terms of content and reports have persisted that the promotion were looking to find a new steaming partner for the WWE Network, rather than hosting the services themselves.

The WWE Network is offered through Peacock in the United States and Khan has now suggested that WWE are close to coming to terms on an similar sort of deal in the UK, following 'conversations' about the best place to put the streaming platform.

Speaking during the Third Quarter 2021 earnings call, when asked about WWE's expectations for international content rights, Khan said: " Keep in mind, our existing India deal with Sony is an all-encompassing deal that includes the premium rights. So that's a deal that's already in place.

"In the U.K., BT, our existing partner, Raw, SmackDown and NXT. There's currently conversations about what the best plan is for WWE Network in that territory. We should have some news soon.

"And in the MENA region, we continue to work on progress, not done yet, but certainly something that we remain optimistic and bullish on."
