Peacock Reportedly Registers Over 3 Million WWE Network Subscribers

WWE's decision to move the WWE Network to NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock appears to have paid off with it being reported that over three million Peacock subscribers have tuned in to watch WWE Network content.

According to Matthew Belloni of Puck, more than 3,000,000 Peacock subscribers have watched some form of WWE content on the streaming platform since it became available through Peacock in March 2021.

It is reported that over half of those three million subscribers made the decision to sign up for Peacock because of the WWE Network being part of the streaming service. 

Perhaps even bigger from a WWE stand point, the report also notes that over one million of the original subscribers successfully made the transition to Peacock from the standalone WWE Network.

At time of the transition, WWE had 1.1 million subscribers to the WWE Network, with the current three million viewers showing how audience interest in the product has increased since the switch.

WWE President Nick Khan has previously noted that the company's Premium Live Events have seen increased viewership since the switch to Peacock, which was first announced last January. 

WWE are reportedly continuing to consider different streaming platforms for the WWE Network for their other global markets.
