People Backstage In WWE 'Love' Keith Lee

WWE Superstar Keith Lee had an eventful weekend in Chicago. Firstly, he emerged victorious as part of Team Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Wargames. Then, on Sunday at Survivor Series, he was one of the last two remaining in the men's elimination match - until being pinned by sole survivor Roman Reigns.

Individuals backstage in WWE are reportedly high on the former PWG World Champion, according to WrestlingNews.co.

An anonymous source within WWE praised Lee after Survivor Series, adding: "He doesn’t complain and he shows up to do the work. We all know how good he is, and this was his night to show everyone what he can do. Vince likes him, and I think he’ll be on Raw or SmackDown in a few months."

Bryan Alvarez also tweeted insinuating that Vince McMahon is a Keith Lee fan - although this could also be a response to Lee's strong showing at Sunday's event.

Both Roman Reigns and WWE COO Triple H also showed their support of Lee on Twitter. The Big Dog wrote: "Well, damn. That was fun, Chicago. Respect to #Raw and #WWENXT. @RealKeithLee, I'll see you again big man. #SurvivorSeries."

Triple H later tweeted: "@RealKeithLee stock THROUGH THE ROOF."
