Established all the way back in 1979, the Intercontinental Championship has been an important part of WWE ever since and is the third-oldest title in the company behind only the WWE Championship (now the Undisputed WWE Universal Title), and the United States Title (originally defended in the NWA, then WCW).

Often perceived as the workhorse title, the Intercontinental Championship has been used to bring plenty of classic WWE matches to TV screens around the world over the years, while the title has also been used to give some of the top stars in the industry their first big break before they move on to the main event picture.

That doesn't mean the Intercontinental Championship hasn't closed out pay-per-views, though, most famously at SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London, England. 

There have been 183 reigns with the Intercontinental Title since the belt was first established, but can you name every WWE Intercontinental Champion?
