Reason Behind Arn Anderson's WWE Release Reportedly Revealed

Backstage producer was let go over the weekend...

Towards the end of the last working week, it was revealed that WWE Hall Of Famer Arn Anderson had been released from his backstage producer role after an 18-year tenure with the company.

The Four Horseman was said to have left his post last Thursday - with details surrounding the release initially very scarce indeed.

Many believed that WWE were simply freshening things up when it came to their backstage producers, following the arrivals of the likes of Abyss, Sonjay Dutt and Shane "Hurricane" Helms in recent times.

However, per Figure Four Online, we now have some clarity on the situation. They claim Arn was fired after an incident with Vince McMahon at a recent live event.

“Arn got fired. It’s an incident that everyone is pretty much keeping quiet. It was an incident with Vince,” Dave Meltzer said.

“I don’t know the whole details of the incident other than it was something at a house show that evidently wasn’t handled well and Arn took the blame for that.”

Despite reportedly having many supporters backstage - most notably Triple H - Arn was sent on his way.
