Report: Adam Cole Considered "Done" With WWE By The Company

Is he AEW bound?

Adam Cole appears to be finished with WWE.

The former NXT Champion has been with WWE since 2017 and his contract expired following The Great American Bash earlier this year, to the surprise of many within the company. Cole ultimately agreed to a short-term extension so he could finish up his feud with Kyle O'Reilly and that extension is reportedly set to end on Friday, August 27

Cole is yet to sign a new deal with the company but question marks were raised about his WWE future after the former Undisputed ERA leader was advertised for a live stream to promote WWE's Mattel action figures alongside Johnny Gargano.

The live stream was actually filmed several weeks ago, though, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, so post-production could be completed in advance.

Instead, those within WWE consider Cole to be done with the company unless both parties agree to a new deal. It was noted earlier this week that WWE were preparing to make the NXT Champion a new offer.
