Report: Backstage News On Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson's WWE Returns

A new report has shed light on the WWE return of The Good Brothers

A new report has shed some light on the WWE returns of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

Gallows and Anderson returned to WWE on this past Monday's episode of Raw, aligning with AJ Styles before brawling with The Judgment Day.

Fightful Select reports that The Good Brothers had indicated to them that WWE expressed interest in re-signing them during the summer, when they were still under IMPACT Wrestling deals.

It continued that Gallows and Anderson had committed to working with New Japan Pro-Wrestling through Wrestle Kingdom on January 4. Though The Machine Gun is the current NEVER Openweight Champion, the duo were working there without contracts.

The former two-time Raw Tag Team Champions were released by WWE in April 2020, during the first round of mass layoffs that WWE cited as 'budget cuts' relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. They subsequently wrestled for IMPACT, AEW and New Japan, as well as on the independent circuit.

Anderson recently gave an interview where he refused to rule out a WWE return, specifically mentioning a desire to work once again with former Bullet Club members Styles and Finn Balor.
