Report: Becky Lynch Closer To WWE Return

Update on Becky Lynch

An update on Becky Lynch has emerged.

The former Raw Women's Champion has been out of action since she suffered a separated shoulder in her match with Bianca Belair at the SummerSlam pay-per-view on July 30. Lynch turned babyface following the contest and she was written off TV the next night on Raw, being taken out by Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL.

It was believed Lynch would be out of action for several months but a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider has noted that The Man is "coming closer and closer to returning to action." She was backstage at the October 3 edition of Monday Night Raw from St. Paul, Minnesota.

Her husband Seth Rollins has continued to perform on WWE TV during her absence. Lynch, meanwhile, has been focused on writing a book and she noted back in August that the injury was healing "really quick."

Since SummerSlam, Bianca Belair has continued to reign as Raw Women's Champion, with Damage CTRL having established themselves as the main heels on Raw. Belair successfully defended her title at Extreme Rules on October 8, defeating Bayley in a Ladder Match.
