Report: Chris Jericho Signed With AEW Through 2023

Le Champion on Dynamite for a while to come

While several AEW talents' contracts are due to expire in the coming months, Chris Jericho won't be one wrestler on the move.

Le Champion signed a three-year deal when he joined All Elite Wrestling in January 2019, meaning he was initially signed with the promotion through the end of 2021.

Jericho's contract included a two-year option, though, and AEW President Tony Khan picked up that option back in January 2020, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Jericho is under an AEW deal through 2023 as a result of the extension.

Fightful Select have echoed Meltzer's report, writing that Jericho has "roughly two years remaining" on his AEW contract.

Jericho has been one of All Elite Wrestling's top stars since the promotion's founding and he was the inaugural AEW World Champion, holding the gold for 182 days until he dropped it to Jon Moxley. He is also the leader of The Inner Circle and has been involved in memorable programmes with The Elite, MJF and Orange Cassidy.

Le Champion is also one of AEW's top earners, along with CM Punk.
