Report: Hall Of Famer's Return Planned For WWE Raw

Spoilers for next week's WWE Raw below!

A WWE Hall of Famer has been absent from TV for the past several weeks but the company are reportedly planning to bring them back on next week's edition of Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden.

According to Fightful Select, WWE are internally planning to have Edge make his return in New York City on July 25. It has not been confirmed if Edge will actually appear on Raw, though.

The 11-time world champion has been off WWE TV since the June 6 episode of Monday Night Raw. Edge was kicked out of his Judgement Day faction on that show, being laid out by new member Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, with Priest ending the attack with a Con-Chair-To.

It was noted following the angle that Edge was pulled from The Judgement Day because he was opposed to WWE's plans to take the group in a supernatural direction. The decision was reportedly made at the last minute.

Vignettes highlighting Edge's past rivals have aired since he was written off TV to promote the 48-year-old's upcoming return.
