Report: How NBCUniversal Feel About WWE NXT Revealed

What do NBCUniversal think about WWE NXT?

Alongside their deal with FOX for Friday Night SmackDown, WWE work with NBCUniversal and the conglomerate airs Monday Night Raw and NXT on the USA network, while Peacock have the United States rights to all of WWE's pay-per-views and major NXT events.

NXT recently held their Halloween Havoc premium live event on October 22 at the WWE Performance Center and the show has only improved WWE's relations with NBCUniversal.

According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Halloween Havoc was the most-viewed NXT standalone premium live event since Peacock acquired the rights to the WWE Network in the United States. NBCUniversal executives were also "encouraged' that additional promotion for the show led to a greater viewership.

Furthermore, NBCUniversal's attitude towards NXT "has been very positive over the past few weeks."

WWE's developmental brand has undergone changes since Triple H became Chief Content Officer with the 2.0 and black-and-gold eras of NXT having been combined. The show has also seen new lighting introduced, although many of the storylines have remained similar to what was presented on NXT 2.0.
