Report: Kenny Omega Able To Make AEW Return

Kenny Omega heading back to AEW

Kenny Omega is set to make his return to All Elite Wrestling.

The IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion has been off AEW TV since he and The Young Bucks regained the AEW World Trios Titles on the January 11 episode of Dynamite. Omega has been kept off the shows due to visa issues but those issues have since been resolved and he will be at tonight's edition of Dynamite in Dayton, Ohio, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer

An AEW World Trios Title match that would pit The Elite against Top Flight and AR Fox has been in the works for weeks, according to Meltzer, so it appears that programme will begin upon Omega's return. The Young Bucks lost to Top Flight on the January 18 episode of Dynamite.

Omega's visa almost prevented him and The Young Bucks from regaining the AEW World Trios Titles on January 11 but The Best Bout Machine was ultimately able to work the show. The Elite won back the belts by winning a Best of Seven series against Death Triangle.
