Report: Lana Expected To Be Off WWE TV Until 2021

She'll be gone for a little while...

The rivalry between Nia Jax and Lana continued on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw and the two women went one on one for the second time. The Irresistible Force picked up the win in their first encounter and has continued to make Lana's life miserable, but The Ravishing Russian was able to exact a small amount of revenge on Raw as she pinned Jax following the Double Knees.

The former Raw Women's Champion quickly regained the upper hand in the feud, though, as she and Shayna Baszler injured Lana's leg and elbow during the post-match beatdown. The Ravishing Russian was then pulled from the TLC pay-per-view and Asuka will now challenge for the Women's Tag Team Championship with a partner of her choosing.

Following Raw, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported Lana is expected to be off WWE TV for a little while, possibly as long as three-four weeks. This means The Ravishing Russian is expected to miss the remainder of 2020 and return sometime in January 2021 ahead of the Royal Rumble.

There was also some speculation that Asuka's new partner at TLC will be Charlotte Flair, but Johnson noted he was unable to confirm if this is the case.
