Report: Latest On Bayley's WWE Absence

Bayley's absence from WWE TV is only days away from passing one year and the former SmackDown Women's Champion has been out of action since she suffered a torn ACL while training at the WWE Performance Center in July of 2021. 

The Role Model might not be gone for much longer, though. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bayley will be back in WWE "somewhat soon." When exactly that will be was not stated but WWE have two major pay-per-views in July, including Money In The Bank on July 2 and SummerSlam on July 30. 

Bayley was initially expected to be out of action for nine months, which would have seen her return around WrestleMania 38, but she was ultimately not brought back to TV around The Show Of Shows. 

Prior to her injury, Bayley was one of the top stars in the women's division and she was locked in a feud over the SmackDown Women's Championship with Bianca Belair before suffering a torn ACL. Belair has since moved brands but she has gold once again as the Raw Women's Champion.
