Report: Lee Moriarty Still Able To Work For MLW Despite AEW Contract

Moriarty can continue to wrestle outside AEW

While Lee Moriarty recently put pen to paper on a contract with All Elite Wrestling, The Master of TAIGASTYLE is reportedly able to continue working for other promotions.

Moriarty was announced as a participant in Major League Wrestling's Opera Cup earlier this week and Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the former IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion can continue competing in MLW as long as his schedule doesn't conflict with an AEW taping.

Moriarty has been one of the top stars on the independent wrestling scene over the last 18 months, following a trilogy of matches against Alex Shelley. He made his AEW debut on August 17 against Dante Martin on Dark and he was signed by AEW following the September 8 Dark: Elevation tapings, where he squared off with Daniel Garcia.

Moriarty will next perform for MLW at Fightland on October 2 from Philadelphia's 2300 Arena. He will compete for the Opera Cup against Bobby Fish, Alex Shelley, Davey Richards, Tom Lawlor, Matt Cross, Calvin Tankman and TJP.
