Report: More AEW Contracts Have Expired

Other AEW contracts have quietly expired

Several talents departed All Elite Wrestling back in May of 2022 after their contracts with the promotion expired, with the likes of Joey Janela, Jack Evans, and Marko Stunt all becoming free agents. "Pretty" Peter Avalon's deal, meanwhile, ran out in late 2021 but he has continued to make appearances in AEW with his fellow Wingmen faction-mates on a per-date contract.

Those talents aren't the only wrestlers who have seen their contracts expire, though. According to Fightful Select, "there are some under the radar, per-appearance agreements that have expired this year" but they have yet to become public. There has been no indication of who the wrestlers might be.

AEW has a range of different contracts, with some wrestlers signed to full-time deals while others operate on a per-appearance basis, with those talents often being utilised on the promotion's YouTube shows Dark and Dark: Elevation.

2022 has also seen a great deal of roster turnover and new talents like Keith Lee, Swerve Strickland, Toni Storm, and Claudio Castagnoli have been signed by All Elite Wrestling so far this year.
