Report: Nick Khan Announces Pay Structure Changes For WWE Talent

Nick Khan reveals WWE changes

WWE have made "positive" changes to the way in which talent earn money in the company.

In addition to their guaranteed income from performing as WWE Superstars, Fightful Select have reported that Nick Khan announced at a talent meeting that wrestlers will now make additional money from revenue generated through third-party platforms, which includes Cameo, autograph signings, and scripted and unscripted programming.

Many main roster talents previously used third-party platforms like Cameo and Twitch to supplement their income during the COVID-19 pandemic but they were banned from doing so by WWE in late 2020. That ban was then extended to prevent talents from monetising their social media accounts.

WWE have instead released limited Cameo opportunities to fans over the last year and talent seemingly weren't receiving additional income for that work outside of the squared circle.

Triple H was also in attendance at the talent meeting which led to an emotional moment as many were "elated" he was there, especially as most had not seen him since August of 2021.

The Game suffered from heart failure in September and he recently announced his retirement from in-ring competition.

Overall, the meeting was said to be "great" and "unanimously positive."
