Report: Skye Blue Joins List Of Injured AEW Talents

The injury bug continues to strike down AEW talents. 

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Skye Blue is the latest AEW wrestler currently on the shelf with an injury. The nature of Blue's injury and how long she will be out of action for is currently unknown.

Blue's issue comes at a time when AEW are in the middle of an injury crisis and the likes of AEW World Champion CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, TNT Champion Scorpio Sky, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, Lee Johnson, Kenny Omega, Darius Martin, Buddy Matthews, and The Bunny are all dealing with issues. 

Skye Blue made her AEW debut back on an April 2021 episode of Dark: Elevation against Britt Baker and her popularity skyrocketed a few months later when she competed in the Casino Battle Royale at September's All Out pay-per-view. The 22-year-old has been a regular in AEW since then and she has primarily competed on the promotion's YouTube shows, although she has performed on Dynamite and Rampage.

Blue hasn't wrestled at all since the June 3 taping of AEW Dark when she lost to Marina Shafir. That match aired on June 7.
