Report: The Briscoes Possibly Backstage At AEW Dynamite

With the AEW in-ring debut of former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal on last night’s Dynamite, it seems as though he wasn’t the only major ROH name in the building, as it has been rumoured that The Briscoe Brothers Jay and Mark could have also been backstage at Dynamite.
A report from Fightful Select stated that The Briscoes were slated to be backstage at AEW Dynamite in Norfolk, Virignia, less than three hours away from The Briscoes home base of Delaware. One source claimed to Fightful that The Briscoes would just be visiting, although nothing concrete has emerged suggesting if ‘Dem Boys’ indeed turned up or not
Regardless, it will be sure to add extra fuel to the fire, as The Briscoes names have been heavily linked with AEW recently, with Bully Ray suggesting that AEW would be the perfect destination for the 11-time ROH World Tag Team Champions.
So far, only Jay Lethal has publicly signed with a wrestling company outside of Ring of Honor, before their Q1 2022 hiatus. As a result of their hiatus, all ROH talents have been released from the company effective at either the end of 2021, or March 31, 2022 if their deals extend beyond that. Lethal negotiated for an earlier release from ROH so he could join AEW.
