Report: Update On Candice LeRae's WWE Contract

More details about Candice LeRae's WWE future have been revealed. 

It was noted earlier this year that The Poison Pixie's WWE contract expired sometime in 2022 and her deal with the company had not been frozen at that time as she had remained an on-screen character despite her pregnancy. 

LeRae has since departed WWE TV for the time being and Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion's contract is due to expire in May next year. The belief is that WWE will add the time she is away from WWE TV onto the end of her contract, though, meaning LeRae will be with the company "well into 2022."

Following sporadic appearances in 2017, Candice LeRae signed with WWE in January 2018. She has spent her entire run on NXT and has established herself as one of the top Superstars in the women's division. 

LeRae's husband Johnny Gargano's WWE future is unclear, though, and the former NXT Champion's contract was due to expire on December 3 but he signed a one-week extension to see him through NXT WarGames. He is reportedly considering his options ahead of either re-signing with WWE or departing the company.
