Report: Update On MJF's Injury Following AEW Double Or Nothing

MJF won't miss any time

All Elite Wrestling won't be forced to vacate the AEW World Championship.

It emerged following Double or Nothing that MJF sustained an arm injury during the AEW World Title Four-Way at the pay-per-view against Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry. MJF suffered the injury after Darby landed on his arm during a top rope powerbomb spot and Friedman arrived at the post-Double or Nothing media scrum with a heavily taped-up arm. Friedman even referenced the injury, saying people didn't care about his "forearm being f****d."

Fortunately for AEW, MJF won't miss any time through injury, according to PWInsider Elite. The arm was banged up following Double or Nothing but the belief is MJF is okay and didn't break anything during the pay-per-view match.

If MJF will be present on the post-Double or Nothing edition of Dynamite on Wednesday, May 31 is currently unknown. The Salt of the Earth has been AEW World Champion since Full Gear in November 2022. He has only defended the title on three occasions so far.
