Report: Update On Vince McMahon's Influence On WWE Creative

Vince McMahon is involved in putting the main event scene together

After re-establishing himself as the head of WWE creative on the Raw after WrestleMania 39, an update on how involved Vince McMahon plans to be with creative has emerged.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current creative team headed up by Chief Content Officer Triple H will "mostly be in charge" of putting shows together, at least for now, with the exception being any plans that Vince McMahon wants to put in place. Those McMahon plans largely revolve around the top of the card at the moment.

Some minor Vince-isms have also crept onto WWE TV in recent weeks such as "local medical facility" instead of "hospital."

Triple H had held the final say over WWE creative between July 2022 and WrestleMania 39 with some input from McMahon following his return to the company as Executive Chairman in January 2023.

McMahon agreed to sell WWE to Endeavor and merge with UFC under a new parent company by the end of 2023, with the deal being announced on Monday, April 3. The 77-year-old will be the Executive Chairman of the new parent organisation.

The night of the deal being announced, McMahon made major changes to the Raw after WrestleMania 39 and was in charge of the taping more and more as the show wore on, firmly establishing himself as the head of creative once again. McMahon has since been overseeing creative plans remotely for recent episodes of SmackDown and Raw.
