Report: Update On William Regal's AEW Status Following Dynamite

William Regal was seemingly written off AEW TV on November 23

After costing Jon Moxley the AEW World Championship at Full Gear, William Regal was set to face the music on the November 23 edition of Dynamite, with Moxley looking for a measure of revenge.

Bryan Danielson eventually calmed Moxley down, and Mox told Regal to run and never come back, prompting speculation from some that ‘The Gentleman Villain’ could be on his way out of AEW and possibly back to WWE

However, a report from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio states that Regal is ‘gonna be back’ and ‘this was not him leaving AEW’.

Before Moxley arrived on Dynamite, Regal announced that new AEW World Champion MJF will be appearing on the November 30 edition of Dynamite, and it remains to be seen if Regal will be by his side or not. If Regal is indeed set for an absence from AEW television then there is currently no word on how long for, nor the reason behind any such leave.

Regal joined AEW in March, debuting at Revolution after the Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley singles match.
