Report: Update On WWE Plans For Veer Mahaan

Veer Mahaan coming back to the main roster?

While he had been a heavily-pushed talent under the Vince McMahon regime, Veer Mahaan was moved back to WWE NXT over the weekend to reform his Indus Sher tag team with Sanga.

Veer and Sanga reunited to take on Chase U at an NXT house show in Citrus Springs, picking up the win over Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward. They had previously teamed together on NXT in 2020 with Malcolm Bivens (now Stokely Hathaway) as their manager and they last stood alongside each other in January 2021 as part of the Superstar Spectacle.

How long Indus Sher will be on NXT remains to be seen but WWE are thinking about moving the tag team to the main roster, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio. They would join the likes of The Usos, Alpha Academy, New Day, The Street Profits, and Maximum Male Models in the tag team division.

Prior to his move back to NXT, Mahaan had been on the receiving end of a push in WWE following his re-debut in April 2022. He initially feuded with Rey and Dominik Mysterio but only had one match on Raw since the end of June.
