Report: When Rey Fenix Will Return To AEW Revealed

The Death Triangle member won't be out for long...

On last week's episode of Dynamite, Rey Fenix injured his hip and back during a brawl with his Casino Ladder match opponents. The Death Triangle member went for a Springboard Senton but undershot the move and crashed onto the floor at ringside, causing him to be pulled from the Ladder match at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.

Tony Khan announced in the media scrum after Double Or Nothing that Fenix was almost cleared to wrestle but was limping backstage so the promotion decided to err on the side of caution.

Cassidy Haynes at Bodyslam.net has now revealed the former AAA Mega Champion won't be out for much longer and will be back in action on the June 10 episode of Dynamite. Fenix didn't feature on either Dark or Dynamite this week as he wasn't in Jacksonville for the tapings, meaning he will also miss next week's show which was filmed yesterday.

Haynes noted Fenix wasn't at the tapings because he travelled back home after Double Or Nothing to take care of a personal matter and to finish up healing after his injury.
