Report: Why Bray Wyatt Isn't Listed On WWE's Internal Roster Revealed

Why isn't Bray Wyatt listed internally in WWE?

Recent reports indicated that Bray Wyatt is not listed on the internal WWE roster, but with many speculating that this could indicate a release, a report from Fightful Select has clarified the reason why.

Fightful Select explain that Bray is missing from WWE's internal list due to illness - the same illness that he has reportedly been dealing with for months, and that the Superstar himself has been "hopeful and wanting a return, but there's been no update on his health or status."

The report also confirms that Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) is still with WWE too, but his creative plans have been put on hold while Wyatt remains sidelined.

Bray disappeared from our screens during the run-up to WrestleMania, in the midst of a feud building towards a match with Bobby Lashley.

Lashley ultimately did not appear on either night of WrestleMania, but did win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown prior.

Wyatt's last WWE TV match came at the 2023 Royal Rumble, where he beat LA Knight under a 'Pitch Black' stipulation. He took part in various house show matches after the Rumble, the most recent taking place on February 26th in Rockford, Illinois - also against Knight.
