Report: WWE Drop RETRIBUTION Names For Mia Yim & Shane Thorne

Neither has been seen on WWE television in months

WWE have reportedly dropped the RETRIBUTION names that had been given to Mia Yim and Shane Thorne prior to their move to Friday Night SmackDown.

Neither Yim or Thorne have been seen on WWE television since RETRIBUTION dissolved on the WWE Fastlane pre-show in March, when the duo both walked out on Mustafa Ali before Mace and T-Bar both attacked their former leader.

Yim and Thorne - who were known as Reckoning and Slapjack in RETRIBUTION - were quietly shifted over to the SmackDown roster a couple of months following the group's split but neither have made their official debut on the blue brand as of yet.

However, PWInsider is reporting that both have been stripped of the names given to them during their time in RETRIBUTION, suggesting a return to their previously utilised names in NXT.

Of course, things could change and names could be reassigned should WWE come up with a different creative direction for the duo.

With a WWE draft reportedly in the works, and new faces set for SmackDown from NXT in the form of Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox and Toni Storm, it remains to be seen if Mia Yim and Shane Thorne become part of a new-look roster on the blue brand.
