Report: WWE Fans Told To Cheer Angel Garza

While he has been largely relegated to matches on Main Event since September 2020, Angel Garza has started to pop up in the ring on Monday Night Raw in recent weeks. 

The Lethal Lothario has often been spotted backstage trying to court women and Drew Gulak mocked Garza for this three weeks ago. This led to a match between the two men and after a quick victory, Garza kicked a rose up Gulak's ass. Daniel Bryan's former coach then attempted to exact revenge earlier this week, but he ended up having a rose shoved down his throat this time around. 

Garza has been a heel throughout his WWE run, and he appears to be the heel during his current feud with Gulak, but WWE may be looking to change that. 

According to Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez, fans in the ThunderDome were told to cheer for the Mexican Superstar while babyface commentator Byron Saxton was disgusted by him shoving the rose down Gulak's throat.

Alvarez said: "Byron Saxton, the babyface announcer is disgusted by this. Corey [Graves], the heel announcer thinks this was awesome. And for the record, the guy in the ThunderDome told everyone to make sure you cheer Angel Garza. So nobody knows what is going on with Angel Garza."

If Garza will be presented as more of a babyface in the coming weeks ultimately remains to be seen, though.
