Report: WWE Hopeful The Rock Will Wrestle At Survivor Series 2021

Will The Great One be in action in November?

WWE are reportedly hopeful that they can convince The Rock to be involved in a match at this year's Survivor Series.

Survivor Series 2021 will match the 25th anniversary of The Rock's debut in a WWE ring. In 1996, under the name Rocky Maivia, he made his first appearance, competing in a traditional Survivor Series Tag-Team Match.

Reports over a potential return to the ring for The Great One, in particular for a huge bout with cousin Roman Reigns, have circulated for a while, but it appears we could see a comeback for The Brahma Bull.

WrestleNews.Co are reporting that WWE are holding out hope that The Rock could actually wrestle at this year's Survivor Series. Rock's last bout at a Survivor Series came in 2011, in a tag-team match alongside John Cena against The Miz and R-Truth.

The Rock has since competed at three WrestleManias, defeating Cena at WrestleMania 28 before dropping the WWE Championship to him at 29. The Rock would then register the fastest victory in WrestleMania history at WrestleMania 32, against Erick Rowan.
