Report: WWE NXT Leaving The Performance Center For Vengeance Day

WWE NXT will be getting out of the Performance Center for Vengeance Day

WWE NXT are going back on the road.

WrestleVotes have reported that NXT will leave the WWE Performance Center for their Vengeance Day premium live event in 2023, with the show set to emanate from Charlotte, North Carolina on February 4.

"Hearing some great news out of the PC this afternoon, source states NXT is returning to the road for their future Premium Live Events. Starting with 'Vengeance Day' on February 4th from Charlotte, NC," WrestleVotes tweeted.

The report was later confirmed by PWInsider and Wrestlenomics, with it being noted Vengeance Day will take place at the 19,000-seat Spectrum Center. It is unknown when tickets for the event will go on sale.

Outside of NXT Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 38 weekend, Vengeance Day will be the first major NXT event outside of the WWE Performance Center since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Shawn Michaels revealed earlier this year that NXT were looking to go back on the road for major events, saying:

"From an NXT standpoint, we've been getting out live events here in Florida and we certainly look forward to getting out of Orlando in 2023. From an NXT standpoint, getting out for our premium live events. Hopefully, that means getting out for live events as well outside of Florida. Those are decisions that come from people above me. We certainly want to do it, and we're excited to do it, but we're going to start with premium live events and see how that goes first."
