Report: WWE Planning Major International Show

A major international show from WWE is on the way

WWE are planning to hold a major international event in early 2023.

According to Sportskeeda Wrestling, WWE have plans in place to hold a major show in India in January. The event is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad, which is the capital of the Indian state of Telangana. It will likely be held on January 18, close to India's Republic Day on January 26.

The roster for the international show will be made up of Indian and other talents. Drew McIntyre is believed to be a lock for the show, although Sportskeeda noted their sources would not confirm this. Irn Dru recently travelled to India for promotional work following the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia in early November.

If the event will be a sequel to 2021's Superstar Spectacle is unknown. That show aired from the WWE Performance Center and featured several Indian talents, including Jeet Rama, Guru Raaj, and Shanky. Superstar Spectacle was main evented by a Drew McIntyre win with Indus Sher against Jinder Mahal and The Bollywood Boyz.

A number of WWE's Indian wrestlers have been released since Superstar Spectacle.
