Report: WWE Planning To Hold SummerSlam 2020 In Atlantic City

The Biggest Party Of The Summer may have a new home...

Over the past week, WWE has been looking for a new location for SummerSlam 2020. The Biggest Party Of The Summer was originally going to take place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts but all large gatherings in the city are prohibited until September 7.

The company has focussed its search on the North East of the United States and while it was initially looking bleak for WWE, the wrestling behemoth's fortunes seemingly turned around yesterday as WrestleVotes reported the feeling backstage is that the pay-per-view will be taking place outside of Florida.

They tweeted: "I've been told by 2 different sources over the weekend that the feeling is SummerSlam will be happening outside the PC. Seems like WWE found a location... Northeastern part of the US. No word on if fans will be in attendance or not just yet."

Dave Meltzer provided additional details on the new location on F4W Online and he revealed the plan is to hold SummerSlam 2020 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Fans may even be able to attend The Biggest Party Of The Summer as outdoor gatherings of up to 500 people can take place in the state.
