Report: WWE Planning To Try And Reconcile With Sasha Banks & Naomi

Will Sasha Banks and Naomi come back to WWE?

Following Vince McMahon's retirement, WWE will attempt to reconcile with Sasha Banks and Naomi, according to Dave Meltzer.

Meltzer said on the Sports Illustrated Media podcast: "It's kind of up in the air. I mean, they're gone. The last I heard was that there would be attempts to be made to reconcile, especially with Vince gone. So, it's up in the air. I don't think there's anything definite just yet."

Vince McMahon announced his retirement as WWE Chairman and CEO on Friday, July 22, and reports after the 76-year-old's departure noted there was hope within the company that Banks and Naomi would return, with the appointment of Stephanie McMahon as WWE Chairwoman and Co-CEO said to be key in any possible reconciliation.

Sasha Banks and Naomi have been away from WWE since they walked out of the May 16 edition of Monday Night Raw over a creative dispute. The pair were then indefinitely suspended and stripped of the Women's Tag Team Championships.

Reports have since noted that Banks has been released by WWE and both she and Naomi were removed from the company's internal roster in early July.
