Report: WWE Plans Being "Cooked Up" For Kevin Owens

Since Triple H took over as WWE’s head of creative, there has been speculation over which members of WWE’s roster could be set to benefit.

Fans had speculated that some of ‘Triple H’s guys’ could be in line for renewed pushes, and Fightful Select have reported that Kevin Owens could be one to benefit from this regime change, with creative plans being ‘cooked up’ for Owens, who has been largely absent from WWE TV for much of the Summer. 

It’s safe to say that Owens is a ‘Triple H guy’ with the former ROH World Champion heavily pushed when signing with WWE NXT in 2014, quickly becoming NXT Champion. Owens later had arguably the strongest main roster call-up when he defeated John Cena in May 2015, and was later literally handed the WWE Universal Championship by Triple H in storyline, after Hunter pedigreed Seth Rollins in a title match in 2016.

Speculation about Owens’ future was rampant in late 2021, before Owens put pen to paper on a new multi-million dollar WWE deal.
