Report: WWE Removes Johnny Gargano, Kyle O'Reilly From Internal Roster

Both men are officially free agents

The wrestling futures of both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly remain open following further confirmation of each man's free agent status.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that both Gargano and O'Reilly are no longer listed on WWE's internal roster, following the expiration of each man's contract.

Johnson wrote, "WWE removed Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly from their roster internally this afternoon as each talents existing deals have expired. As of today they are both free agents and can wrestle anywhere they wish."

Gargano's contract is known to have expired as of 12:01 a.m. this morning. It's not clear when exactly O'Reilly's expired, but reports indicate that he is no longer under WWE contract.

Gargano re-opened his Pro Wrestling Tees store earlier on Friday, putting out five new designs which include slogans such as, "Johnny Wrestling is Back" and "Bet On Yourself".

Gargano was attacked by Grayson Waller during his apparent farewell speech on Tuesday's NXT. O'Reilly lost a steel cage match on the same broadcast to Von Wagner. Both Gargano and O'Reilly took part in another farewell after NXT went off the air.
