Report: WWE's Aliyah Dealing With An Injury
Aliyah on the sidelines with an injury, according to a new report
A WWE SmackDown talent can be added to the list of wrestlers on the injured list.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Aliyah is currently out of action with an injury. The nature of the issue was not revealed.
The former Robert Stone Brand member was recently advertised for the June 24 episode of Friday Night SmackDown for a Money In The Bank qualifier against Shotzi. The match was suddenly scrapped without explanation, though, and Tamina ended up replacing Aliyah before the former Women's Tag Team Champion lost to Shotzi.
Aliyah was last in action at the June 19 'Sunday Stunner' live event where she teamed with Lacey Evans and Raquel Rodriguez to pick up a win over Natalya, Shayna Baszler, and Shotzi. She has been seldom used on Friday Night SmackDown since her programme with Natalya ended in February of 2022.
Similar to All Elite Wrestling, AEW are suffering from their own injury problems with Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and Randy Orton currently on the shelf.
