Report: WWE Talent Grow To Appreciate Michael Cole Even More

There's been a growing level of recognition for Cole backstage

There has been a reported swelling of appreciation for Michael Cole and the job he does on commentary in recent weeks, following his mistaken call at the end of WWE WrestleMania 37 Night One and amidst over commentator woes.

Cole said that Sasha Banks had kicked out of Bianca Belair's KOD at the close of their SmackDown Women's Championship Match on 'Mania 37 Night One, leading some to speculate that there may be heat on the experienced broadcaster over the botch.

Fightful Select is reporting that, while Cole apologised for the mistake backstage to a number of people, there has been no heat on him regarding it with many considering it just one of those things that can happen in a live entertainment environment.

On the flip side, it actually appears there has been a growing level of appreciation for Cole and his consistent work in helping talent to get over from his position at the announcer's table. The report cites 'commentary woes' as helping some performers in WWE realise just how good Cole is at his job.

Cole joined WWE in 1995 and has been doing play-by-play commentary for the company since 1998.
