Report: Zelina Vega Seen At WWE Performance Center

Is a return on the cards?

Zelina Vega (Thea Trinidad) was at the WWE Performance Center earlier today, according to a report from Fightful Select

The former WWE Superstar was at the training facility to film content. What exactly was taped is currently unknown, but the "working plan" is for Vega to return to WWE.

Vega was released by WWE for breach of contract back in November 2020 after she opened an OnlyFans account. The company had previously rolled out a ban on Superstars using third-party platforms to supplement their income and WWE felt Vega's account "boxed them into a difficult situation."

Vega's first run in WWE began in June 2017 and she spent much of her time on TV as Andrade's manager. She would eventually go on to manage Angel Garza and briefly Austin Theory as well in 2020, but the group was split up in September. She then had a brief run as a singles Superstar and twice faced Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship, but she was released by the company shortly after.

Since her release by WWE, Trinidad has remained largely quiet outside of an "I support unionization" tweet and she is seemingly on her way back to the company.
