Rey Mysterio Celebration Set For WWE Raw

A celebration will take place on next week's episode of Monday Night Raw from New York City's Madison Square Garden. 

As Rey Mysterio's 20-year anniversary with WWE will coincide with Raw, the company have announced they will hold a 20th-anniversary celebration during the show. 

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his debut on the July 25, 2002, episode of SmackDown and defeated Chavo Guerrero. Mysterio remained with WWE until 2015 before returning in 2018. 

Rey was in action on the July 18 episode of Raw in a loss to Damian Priest. The Judgement Day then teased recruiting Dominik Mysterio to the faction but they ultimately rejected the younger Mysterio. Finn Balor and Damian Priest will take on Rey and Dominik next week. 

Also set for the July 25 edition of Raw is a Roman Reigns appearance ahead of his Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar. Logan Paul will also hold ImPaulsive TV before he faces The Miz at SummerSlam.
