Ric Flair Expects Triple H To Move Away From Having Part-Time WWE World Champions

WWE's world championship picture has been littered with part-time talents throughout 2022, from Brock Lesnar having two reigns as WWE Champion to Goldberg challenging for the Universal Title to the now part-time Roman Reigns holding the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

That may well change following Triple H's appointment as head of creative and Ric Flair noted on his To Be The Man podcast that he thinks Paul Levesque will move towards having the company's top champion work more dates. 

"I don't think he's crazy about the part-time performers, especially in a title role, the title picture. This is just me taking a guess, I think he's going to work towards having people who are champions working more dates. That would be my guess," Flair said. 

Roman Reigns was previously a full-time performer in WWE but he transitioned to a part-time role after signing a new contract following WrestleMania 38. He has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since The Showcase of the Immortals and he will next defend the gold at Clash At The Castle on September 3 against Drew McIntyre. 

Triple H has been WWE's head of creative since Vince McMahon resigned as CEO and Chairman on July 22.
