Road Dogg Thinks He Could Help AEW Behind The Scenes

The D-O-Double-G Road Dogg thinks he could help AEW out

Despite being a WWE Hall of Famer and accomplished tag team specialist, ‘Road Dogg’ Brian James is also a seasoned wrestling producer, and has revealed he could help AEW behind the scenes.

Released from his backstage position in WWE in early 2022, James told Sportskeeda that he believes he could help AEW with certain aspects of their presentation, if they wanted it:

“I would love to go back and work behind the scenes,” said James. “I think I could help with AEW’s television product and I think I could help with the creative consistency about some things, some unwritten rules that’ll just make their television show prettier and look, maybe that’s not what they want and I understand that too. But, I’m here if you need me.”

James’ long-term tag partner Billy Gunn works for AEW as a trainer and on-screen talent, so if a role backstage in AEW doesn’t pan out, then maybe a New Age Outlaws reunion could be on the cards instead.
