Roman Reigns Set For WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns is coming back to WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns is set to return to Friday Night SmackDown.

It was announced during Monday's episode of Raw that Reigns will return to SmackDown later this week on Friday, July 8. This will be Reigns' first appearance on WWE programming since he defeated Riddle to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the June 17 episode of SmackDown.

After that match, Reigns was attacked by the returning Brock Lesnar. The two rivals will go one-on-one for what is being billed as the final time at SummerSlam on July 30 in Nashville, Tennessee. They will face off in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

SummerSlam will be the seventh time that Lesnar and Reigns have faced off in singles competition since 2015. Lesnar has won two of their matches while Reigns has won three. Seth Rollins won their first singles match at WrestleMania 31 when he cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to make the main event a Triple Threat.

Also announced for SmackDown is a segment that will feature Maximum Male Models showing off their tennis wear collection. Max Dupri revealed Mace and Mansoor were a part of his faction last week.
