Ronda Rousey Vs. Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair To Main Event WWE WrestleMania 35
First-ever women's main event!
WWE have put all of the rumour and innuendo to bed to announce the main event of WrestleMania 35 will be the women's triple threat for the Raw Women's Championship between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
This means that for the first time ever, a women's match will main event the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Opinion appeared to be divided within the WWE Universe as to what match should actually main event 'Mania 35, with Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal title and the WWE Championship match (should Kofi Kingston be in it) worthy contenders in their own right.
However, the powers that be have gone for the ladies, with their storyline the biggest in the company so far this year.
Here's how WWE have described each woman in the match in their statement on their website: "Ronda Rousey is the current Raw Women’s Champion, Olympic medalist, the first female UFC Champion and the first woman to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. She is also an actress and New York Times bestselling author. Charlotte Flair is a seven-time Champion in WWE, a former Division 1 volleyball player, philanthropist and author. She is the daughter of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. Becky Lynch is the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble winner, a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion and was named Wrestler of the Year by both Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports in 2018. She was also the first woman ever to top ESPN’s WWE Power Rankings."
WrestleMania 35 takes place in 13 days time inside MetLife Stadium and will be streaming on the WWE Network.
