Scott D'Amore Hints Chelsea Green Could Return To IMPACT Wrestling Following Her WWE Release

Will the former Knockouts Champion return?

WWE released multiple Superstars yesterday including Samoa Joe, Mickie James and Chelsea Green. The releases came exactly one year after Black Wednesday.

All of the released Superstars have a 90-day non-compete clause, meaning they can't sign anywhere until July 14. This hasn't stopped IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore from hinting that Chelsea Green could return to the promotion, though.

After Green tweeted about the return of her psychotic gimmick, D'Amore replied: "I remember a certain woman in a wedding dress terrorizing the @IMPACTWRESTLING KOs division..."

If Green will return to IMPACT Wrestling ultimately remains to be seen but the company did sign multiple released WWE Superstars after last year's firings and the likes of Deonna Purrazzo, Eric Young, The Good Brothers and Green's fiance Matt Cardona are regularly featured on IMPACT TV.

Green previously wrestled in IMPACT from 2016 to 2018 as Laurel Van Ness and is a former Knockouts Champion. She spent much of her time in the company as a psychotic heel and would regularly wrestle in a mangled wedding dress.
