Seth Rollins Reveals How His Relationship With Becky Lynch Started Being Used In WWE Storylines

The main hook for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view eight days ago surrounded the main event winners take all last chance extreme rules mixed tag team match involving Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.
Apparently, according to Michael Cole and Corey Graves especially, Rollins and Lynch's PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP - did you know that they are boyfriend and girlfriend? - was going to play a huge part in this wrestling match. Graves found great joy in the relationship potentially coming to an end if one of them lost the match and therefore cost the pair their respective titles.
Seth has been speaking to Newsweek recently and has shared some insight as to how a very much behind the scenes relationship came to being used on TV: “The stories aligned only because of Baron Corbin aligned them," he said.
“It was circumstantial. It wasn’t like Becky and I thought “hey, we’re dating now, let’s be on TV together and have matches together. So now we’re back being supportive boyfriend and girlfriend for each other.
"I’m looking forward to her match with Natalya at SummerSlam, and, hopefully, she’s looking forward to me beating Brock Lesnar and winning back the Universal title.”
