Shawn Michaels Hopes To Have A Strong One-Two Punch With Triple H

Shawn Michaels and Triple H are running NXT and WWE Creative respectively

From the locker-rooms of the mid-90s, to the management levels of WWE, The Kliq is running the show, with Triple H the head of WWE Creative, and Shawn Michaels heading up NXT.

In the past there was a disconnect between NXT and WWE’s main roster when Triple H was running NXT and Vince McMahon was still in charge of the main roster, but Shawn Michaels is now hopeful of pulling off a ‘one-two’ punch with Triple H, saying the following to Sports Illustrated:

“We hope now that we can put together a really powerful one-two punch between NXT and the main roster that’s going to drive WWE to even greater heights,” Michaels said. “He wants to stick to the mission statement, which is to be the greatest sports entertainment company on the face of the earth. I’m going to do everything here to help, and he’ll have the entire support of NXT. We’re all excited for the future.”

Triple H has already brought back several formal NXT stars who were let go by McMahon, with the likes of Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai, and Dexter Lumis all given new roles on WWE’s main roster.
